Make Your Plans Now for the Fourth

By Contributed Article

It’s not too early to make plans to join the fun on Signal Mountain on the Fourth of July! The annual parade will be held on Wednesday, the fourth. Participants will line up at Alexian Village at 9:30 am on Tuesday, July 4th. The parade will begin at 10:00 am. The route will be the same as last year, marching down James Boulevard, turning at the wishing well in Old Towne, and continuing on Texas to Althaus Park behind the Country Club. There, the Lions Club of Signal Mountain will host their traditional barbecue dinner followed by fireworks after dark.

The parade is open to everyone. Walkers, bicyclists, scooters, strollers, and dogs on leashes need only to show up. Other parade entries should contact Catherine Smith at . Clubs, organizations, businesses, and neighborhood floats are encouraged to join the parade. Plan ahead to stay on the mountain this year to enjoy our small town Independence Day Celebration!
