Mr. Robert Groves, director Signal Mountain High School Band, leads the high school band in pepping up the crowd during Signal Mountain's 49 to 32 victory over Ridgeland's JV Friday, September 12th.
Members of the band's color guard are seen in the fore ground and the High School Cheerleading squad can be seen in the distance. The Band, Color Guard and Cheerleaders kept the crowd energized as the Eagles won their fourth game at home.
Many thanks go out to all of the parents who have helped the SMMHS Music Boosters with parking cars for home football games. So far, we have raised about $5000! We could not do this without our volunteers. Thank you!
Thank you also to parents who have joined SMMHS Music Boosters. We truly need and appreciate your support.
Our annual cheese cake fund raiser which provides 99% of our Band’s budget kicked off October 22nd.
Looking ahead we have another terrific opportunity to help the music department achieve success and present their annual Christmas on the Mountain concert at the Tivoli Theater December, 16th 2008. If you would like to volunteer to help with this great community holiday concert, please contact Sara Merkle at .
All music student parents are welcome to join the music boosters. Joining is easy! To join please see the link to the club’s membership form on the SMMHS home page/activities/band/music boosters. We looking forward to having you join us in supporting our music students as they learn, develop their talents, and perform great music!
