SIGNAL MOUNTAIN DAY AT THE HUNTER MUSEUM

By ANNE RITTENBERRY

As part of its community outreach program, ArtsReach, Allied Arts of Chattanooga is inviting all Signal Mountain residents to visit the Hunter Museum of American Art on Sunday, May 7 from noon until 5 p.m. free of charge. It’s Signal Mountain Day at the Hunter! Be sure to bring your driver’s license to verify your Signal Mountain address.

Thrasher Elementary students will serve as docents at this wonderful museum.

Be sure to plan to take advantage of this opportunity to tour the museum and enjoy the magnificent works of art in various media there.

The Chattanooga Boys Choir KidSing event which had been planned for April 7 had to be postponed due to the threat of storms that evening. KidSing will be rescheduled though, so watch for details.

For more information, call Laurie Shipley at Allied Arts, 756-ARTS.
