JUNE:
Get fit, explore, and relax. Three simple activities one can do as much or as little as one likes. Last month I mentioned all the wonderful opportunities offered by the Town of Signal Mountain at the recreation center, pool, library, and Mountain Arts Community Center. If you or your children have not signed up for some of these activities, check them out to see what is still happening and available.
COME SUPPORT THE GREEN GIANTS. Don’t forget that everyone is invited to cheer on the Signal Mountain Swim Team, the “Green Giants”, at the Developmental Swim Meet. HATS OFF to the swimmers, the coaches, and the families who support the Green Giants Swim Team.
Many of the local organizations on the mountain take time off during the summer months. Most reorganize late in the spring and start up in the fall with a new slate of officers. And so they take time to plan the next year’s events, come up with new ideas, and avoid burnout. I hope that these past few months, I have been able to bring to you some of the great things offered during the year by these organizations. If you want more information or would like to consider becoming active in one or more of them, please call me and I will get you in touch with the right person.
In the meantime, there are some things going on that everyone needs to be aware of. Time is running out to make changes in your listing in the new 2 Signal Mountain Directory. If you need to make a change, please call or NOW. Remember, this Directory is more than just a little book of numbers. It is a major fundraiser for the Signal Mountain Community Guild used to support many worthy projects on the mountain. They need our support. If you would like to place an ad, call or .
