Kids Like You, Kids Like Me

Kids can explore assistive technologies that a child with a disability might use in their everyday activities at home, at school, and on the playground. Communicate with your family using a chose board, play basketball in a wheelchair, and "wake up" using an alarm clock that vibrates your pillow.

Winter is full of fun in our annual winter holiday exhibit! When you enter this interactive environment, youíll get to visit a cozy winter cottage, explore a winter maze, climb a mountain, and go ice fishing.

Where can you play the stock market, run your own lemonade stand, put your face on a million dollar bill, and see samples of currency from pounds to pesos? In Moneyville, thatís where! This exciting exhibit will have you seeing money in a whole new way.

Creative Discovery Museum is recognized as one of the top childrenís museums in the nation. It is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to educational enrichment for children ages 4-months to 12-years-old through interactive, hands-on experiences that foster creative and critical thinking. CDM focuses on a broad range of areas encompassed by Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Technology and the Sciences. In addition to its exhibits, CDM provides local residents and visitors with special events, educational programming, teacher resources for the classroom, field trips, after school programming, early childhood education classes, artist residencies, camps, art lessons, science demonstrations, and a branch of the local library. Creative Discovery Museum is a funded agency of Allied Arts and Tennessee Arts Commission.
