Learning To Be a Successful Principal

By Contributed Article

Mr. Ken Barker and Mr. Shane Harwood
Shane Harwood recently visited Nolan Elementary School in hopes of discovering the secrets of successful principals like Mr. Ken Barker. Mr. Harwood decided about three years ago that he would like to one day be an assistant principal and later a school principal. Right now he works at North Hamilton County Elementary as a teacher. Harwood says he wants to be able to help lead a school, and he wants to help children learn more and more each day. Mr. Harwood has a favorite principal that lives in North Carolina named Mr. McAdoo.
