Monster Barn For Kids
By
 |
You all know the Monster Barn is opening this weekend! Well the Girl Scouts of Signal Mountain wanted to make it available to younger kids who might be too scared to go to the "real" Barn. We have been told that it was just too scary for the elementary crowd.
This is an Invitation to elementary/preschool school kids and scouts to visit the Haunted Monster Barn Oct. 6, 7, 13 and 14. The Girl Scouts of Signal Mountain are offering a "gentle" Haunted House from 6:30 - 8:30 on these nights. It will be run by all our scouts and moms and dads. It is fun for the whole family (however kids under 4 may still be scared!)
We will have marshmallow roasting and storytelling by the fire, a Hay ride through a Cemetery, a Walk through the "haunted Forest", interact the Buford the Bat for some great tales, and of course the scariest is the Barn itself. The Kids will still have a great experience even if they don't go into the Barn. The Barn is dark and is sort of a maze with 6 different rooms with Girl Scouts running each room and telling
stories and "scaring" everyone.
It is still very light at 6:30 so it is not scary AT ALL from 6:30 - 7:00 so that is the best time to come with the little ones. (You parents will see all the bright orange drop cords and black tarps) Then it gets progressively scarier as the evening goes on! No older kids will be admitted until after 8:30.
Go to Monsterbarnfun.com and click on the Girl Scout logo to get the discount ticket and directions. The cost for Girl Scouts and any "little kid" is only $5 each and all proceeds go to the Lions Club. You may email me if you have any questions or concerns at .
Thanks and Happy Halloween!
