SMGSA Community Liason

Signal Mountain Girls Softball Reorganizes!

The Signal Mountain Girls Softball Association reorganized swiftly this spring to form a new Executive Board as well as complete a successful season. SMGSA is now under the direction of President Julie Huckaby and Vice-president Bob Hunter. Through the help of many volunteer coaches, parents and a great showing at sign-up's, the season was definitely a success. This is only the beginning for the SMGSA and we are determined to make future seasons even more beneficial to the players and the community. We hope you have noticed the improvement of the playing fields, the new additions to the concession stand and the 'all in all' increased spirit of girls softball on Signal Mountain.

We invite everyone to come out and be a part of it next year. SMGSA Board will continue to work during the year organizing it's plans for continued improvement of the fields, looking into ASA regulated teams as well as teaching clinics to enhance the players knowledge and experience before the new season begins. Enormous thanks to Julie, Bob, and the rest of the SMGSA board members for their many hours putting Signal Mountain Girls Softball back on track. We welcome the community involvement in this endeavor and we look forward to another wonderful season next year. We appreciate your continued support.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
