Thank you to Ann Cox for hosting our April meeting and speaker. Also, a huge thanks to all who have helped our group in ANY way this school year. I will not mention names for fear of overlooking someone, but we have been very blessed to have many parents volunteer their time and expertise. Please be thinking about helping in some way next year.

Our last meeting of this school year is Monday, May 20, 7:00 PM at Walden Town Hall.

A volunteer is needed to represent our group at the CSTHEA meeting in May. It will be held the 2nd Monday at 6:30 PM at Hickory Valley Christian Church. Please contact Diane Roozen if you can help.

Book-It...It is time to sign up for Pizza Hut's Book-It program for K-6 for the 2002-03 school year. Contact Sue Hughbanks, , by May 3. She will get the materials to you in September.

Book Cover Illustration contest for homeschoolers - contact Laura Miller for more information.

Lisa Tuggle () is developing a dance program especially for homeschoolers ages 6 and up. Spring course is "Intro to Dance" and is conducted at the Chattanooga Theater Center dance studio. Even children who have had dance in the past are welcome. Ballet techniques, modern dance, and improv will be taught.

Remember that responsible teens are encouraged to volunteer at the SM library, even throughout the summer. Contact Connie Pierce () or see her at the library.

Looking for a tutor for your child? Angie Landrum's son, Jeremy, is available. .

Happy Spring!
