The fall has gotten off to a great start classes are going great and the children are all enjoying these as well as many other activities such as American Girl Club, and monthly book reports.

At our meeting this month we had the opportunity to hear from homeschool veterans Stuart and Tammy Goggans, and Gary and Carole Hargraves. They shared with us their early homeschool experiences.

For November Joyce Herzog author of Learning in Spite of Labels and other great programs is our scheduled speaker. Please join us November 14 for this wonderful opportunity.

Don't miss out on several great field trips. Channel 9 Science Theater. November 12, Good Vibrations grades 2nd - 3rd. December 10, What's the Matter grades 3rd - 4th. Questions contact Allyson Kinard .

Sugar plums fairies, and dancing flowers are only part of the magic of the Nutcracker. Tickets are now available for the Chattanooga Ballet Nutcracker. The scheduled performance is Friday, December 13, at 10:00 am. Tickets are only $3.75 per person. This event sells out quickly if you are interested please contact Diane Roozen at . Reservations deadline (payment) is Friday, November, 22.

It is time for our first roller skating party of the year. Friday, November 1, 2:00 - 4:00 PM. At Rollere Coaster Skate World in Hixson. The cost is $3.50 per skater. As in the past we will bring a snack to share. We will also begin collecting hot chocolate for the Welfare Council. We have been asked to provide 85 boxes by December 13. Please remember to help us help others.
