The Bargain Barn Opens at Bachman Community Center

By Contributed Article

Bachman Community Center will open a new thrift store, Bachman Bargain Barn Resale Shop, on Saturday, November 4, 10:00 – 2:00. The Bargain Barn will be open on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Open dates before Christmas are November 18 and December 2 and 16. Clothing, toys and small household goods will be sold at the shop, which is the first room to the right from the front door. Look for the bright green door!

Bachman will accept donations of gently-used items on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-3. Please call for other times. There is no drop-off box. Volunteers are also needed to sort and price items. Proceeds from the Bachman Bargain Barn will support Bachman's ongoing programs and the restoration of the historic former Bachman School building.

Don't forget to visit the Bachman Community Library while you are at Bachman. The library accepts donations of books and movies at the times listed above. Movie and audiobook rentals are always free at Bachman Community Library, along with the best in books, including children's books, mysteries and other fiction.
